Junction Goole announces Spring season

Spring 2019 at Junction Goole promises everything from comedy, theatre and live music, to circus, dance and family shows.

The season sees the return of the hugely-popular TakeOver Festival, where Year 10 at Riverside Special School will be taking over Junction for a two-week family extravaganza. This year’s shows include spellbinding Indian dance from Balbir Singh Dance Company, disgusting songs for revolting children from musical comedian Jay Foreman, and an ABBA-themed murder mystery from panto favourites, TaleGate Theatre! The children will also design the programme and work at Junction during the event which runs from 18-30 March, so watch this space for more details!

The season also includes a range of live music, with the return of the ever-popular Snake Davis and Two Pianos, who sold out at their last appearances! Balkan world-music stars Baghdaddies and experimental folk trio The Churchfitters bring their first shows in Goole.

Other highlights include And This Is My Friend Mr Laurel, a tribute to Laurel and Hardy from Hi-de-Hi star Jeffrey Holland, comedy cookery with DIY chef George Egg, magical aerial circus in family theatre show STELLA, and the return of the ever popular Northern Ballet, with their ballet for children, Puss in Boots. TaleGate Theatre’s fabulous Dame James will also be revealing behind-the-scenes secrets and re-living his favourite routines from 10 years of pantomime at Junction in a special one-off show!

Tickets for the new season are on sale now from the Box Office on 01405763652 and online at www.junctiongoole.co.uk.
