Cinderella choice of Hessle Saints and Sinners
Final rehearsals are taking place for “Cinderella”, a charity pantomime being staged in Hessle next month.
This is very much a local community group production by the Hessle Saints and Sinners Group, which has nearly 60 local people involved as cast members, or as part of the stage management, wardrobe and make-up, technical, set design, publicity, and front of house /catering teams. It takes place at the All Saints Church Hall, Hessle, from Thursday to Saturday 7th-9th February 2019.
Spokesman Chris Giles said: “Our productions are a real team and community effort and we have an age range from 6 to 86 years old. Our group is full of enthusiasm and enjoyment which we know from previous productions is transmitted to our audiences and they have a wonderful time.”
Tickets for the pantomime cost £6 for adults; £4 for senior citizens, children 16 & under and registered disabled, or £15 for a family ticket (2 adults and 3 children under 16) and can be obtained by ringing 07930 841660. Performances start at 7.30pm each evening and there will also be a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
The forthcoming production of Cinderella is also helping raise funds for Hull and East Yorkshire Mind
