War Medley, "Fallen Leaves", to Tour Yorkshire
East Riding professional theatre company, Other Lives, is bringing a show to mark the centenary of the end of World War 1 to the region’s stage this autumn.
From 30th October to 11th November Other Lives presents Fallen Leaves, about real Yorkshire people who were involved in WW1. The organisers are appealing for any kind folk who may be in possession of British helmets and who may be prepared to lend them to Other Lives for the production.
It will include popular songs/music hall of the time, the war poets, letters from the trenches, and sketches. The tour will take in five East Yorkshire venues as well as other locations in the region. The final performances will be at the East Riding Theatre, Beverley, on the 11th day of the 11th month.
