Easter Line-up for Hull Truck Audiences
Hull Truck Theatre has events to keep the whole family entertained this Easter, from well-loved musicals to a new twist on a classic fairy tale.
Little Angel Theatre comes to Hull Truck Theatre with Red Riding Hood and the Wolf (Tuesday 27 – Thursday 29 March), a new spin on the story for children aged 7 plus and their families.
There are two sides to every tale, and you might not guess how this one goes! What if the Big Bad Wolf wasn’t big or bad at all? What it they got it all wrong? Robyn wants to tell you what really happened through a world of homemade make-believe, in a story of a gentle wolf with a broken heart.
Rediscover the magic of classic musical Oliver! (Tuesday 27 – Saturday 31 March, not including Friday 30 March), from the acclaimed local theatre company behind Gypsy and The Drowsy Chaperone. With a talented cast of local adults and young people, One Off Productions will make sure you leave Hull Truck Theatre singing the songs with a spring in your step.
Hot on the heels of last year’s hit production Betty Blue Eyes, Hull’s Northern Academy of Performing Arts is back on the main stage at Hull Truck Theatre with Thoroughly Modern Millie (Wednesday 4 – Saturday 7 April). The show takes us back to the heady heights of jazz age New York when ‘moderns’, including Millie Dillmount, were bobbing their hair, raising their hemlines, and rewriting the rules of love. This bright, funny and charming musical comedy is packed with infectious numbers and dance routines, making it the perfect show for all the family.
